Technical Requirements for Valve Assembly

Valves are a kind of commonly used hardware products. There are certain technical requirements for valve assembly. Otherwise, the assembled valve cannot reflect its excellent performance. What are the technical requirements of valves before and during assembly?

Technical requirements before valve assembly

1. According to processing requirements, some parts need to be polished, and the surface can not have processing burrs.

2. All parts should be degreased.

3. After degreasing, the next step is pickling and passivation, and the cleaning agent should not contain phosphorus.

4. After pickling and passivation, the parts should be rinsed with pure water, and there must be no agent residues. This step is omitted for carbon steel parts.

5. Dry the parts one by one with non-woven fabrics, or dry them with clean nitrogen.

6. Wipe the parts one by one with non-woven fabric or precision filter paper dipped in alcohol (analytical grade) until there is no dirty color.

Technical requirements during valve assembly

1. The installation workshop must be clean, or temporary clean areas can be set up. For instance, using newly purchased color striped cloths or plastic films to set up the areas, which can prevent dust during installation.

2. Assemblers must wear clean purified cotton overalls and working caps, and their hair should be hidden in the caps. Besides, they should wear clean shoes and plastic gloves.

3. Assembly tools must be degreased and cleaned before valve assembly to ensure cleanliness.
